Temporary Accommodation Notification Duty Training
The Temporary Accommodation Notification Duty (TAND) introduces a new statutory duty for Local Authorities, requiring them to implement a consent-based notification, alerting a child’s School, GP and Health Visiting Team when the child moves into Temporary Accommodation. Introduced through the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act, this represents an important step towards strengthening coordination between housing, health and education services.
